As a long-time respected member of the Rapid City automotive repair community, William (Willy) is one of the most respected and trusted automotive experts in the Black Hills. Boasting over 23 years of experience in automotive repair, Willy is an ASE Master certified Automotive technician with an undercar specialist designation. Specializing in electrical, diagnostics, and drivability concerns, Willy is the best of the best when it comes to identifying problems with vehicles and finding effective solutions. As the owner of Elite Auto Repair, Willy oversees all technical aspects of the business, with over 5 years of auto repair shop ownership under his belt. Steven Reynolds (Partner)
Willy’s right-hand man and manager of all things administrative, Steven brings great value to the Elite Auto Repair team with his customer service skills, willingness to learn, and charisma. When you call us to make an appointment, you can always expect Steven to answer the phone, eager to help get your car back in working shape.
A Rapid City transplant, Steven has lived in Rapid City for 10 years. In his free time, Steven enjoys spending time with wife, dog, and can often be found on motorcycle adventures throughout the Black Hills.

The owner of this shop has the highest level of work integrity I have ever witnessed. Truthful, kind, easy to work with, and that’s just him and his guys. Their work is by far the best, they care to make even the smallest details perfect. Unlike many places I have tried in town, they aren’t about money, they are about people and doing the right thing! We broke down on our way home to Montana coming in from Kentucky. Will and Stephen were very nice to work with. They got is back on the rd as soon as they could,and came to pick us up at our hotel at no extra charge. If your in the area and need a good mechanic we highly recommend them.

They were very fast at fixing all the issues with my brakes, which there were A LOT. Very friendly mechanics which is hard to come by. This is the second service I've had done here. This time they replaced my blower motor to fix my heat and air. The job was done in a couple hours and it's been working great since. I've recommended them to friends and feel really lucky to have found them. Really nice guys too!

2 most important things: Knowledgeable and HONEST. Took my truck in fully expecting to get a new engine installed, and got the quote for it. Willie checked it out before he started and canceled the new engine. Managed to fix it instead, COSTING him and SAVING me $4,000. (FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS) Trusting a mechanic is a rare thing these days.Trust these guys.

Needed clutch replaced on a newer vehicle. I was unable to get an appointment at any shop or dealership shop for weeks out for a diagnosis . Elite auto was able to get my vehicle in within days. Had the parts ordered and received promptly and had it repaired and back to me within the week. I was quoted as much as $3200 from other competitors, he beat both dealer prices and auto shop prices by nearly $1000.00 !! Most places I called it seemed they did not want the tedious work and didn't want to even attempt, elite auto was more then happy to have my business. I will use elite auto for any future repairs !
